    Let's start at the begining:

In 2004, Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook, initially for his fellow students at Harvard University, but it slowly spread to other Universities and Colleges and now it is open to anyone over the age of 13, as long as you have a valid email.

There are currently 1.4 billion active users on Facebook, with a $222 Billion market valuation.

Facebook is a social network - a meeting place for like-minded people, and its a great place to share information about your own business.  If you treat your 'Page' like a digital extension of your business - by tailoring messages and posts to client's needs and interests - you can increase your business exponentially.

Using a Facebook Page for Business or Blogs, you can run updates, share special offers or launch a new collections, new service, or anything really.  If you use analytics - we'll talk about that later - you will have a great idea about who your customer is, and that will let you tailor your business even more.
