    Beginners Guide to Facebook, Part Five: Acquiring Leads

    As long as you know your target audience well, Facebook can be an excellent source to acquire both leads and clients.  However, it's usually best not to create an Ad right from the get-go.  It's usually considered best to wait until you have between 8 and 10 pieces of content.

    The idea behind this is to make your most successful posts into promotions.  When you begin to notice that a certain post is getting a lot of interest, you can then choose to promote it to reach even more people.  

    Here are some rules to follow:


    • What are you looking to achieve from your ad?
    • Use Facebook's Page Insights to understand who responds to your messages and target you ads and promoted posts to that demographic. 
    • Try out different images and headlines and see what works.  This way you will be able to maximize the impact of every single post and ad.
    • Remember that Facebook automatically pushes your budget on adverts that are performing the best.
