Coding with Style

On a blog, code can mean a lot of different things:  it can mean the programming language that makes your website or blog run, or it can mean simple styles that makes words look better when people see them on your blog.  This blog is about teaching you, the reader, how to make your blog act, work, and yes look better, so let's talk about making the text in your blog posts look wicked awesome.

The first thing a blogger needs to know about coding is that you'll be working with the code inside a blog post - in most cases the blog software building the blog pages and posts.  This means you don't really need to know very much code - just those that are most often used to format text and photos, or embed video files.

The vast majority of code you'll need to know in the beginning with be HTML - HyperText Markup Language.
