How To Emphasize Text using HTML

You can dress up boring old text easily by learning some useful HTML.  You can alter your text using Bold, Italics, Underlined, or strikethrough.  Like most HTML tags, these are so-called 'on/off' tags, meaning you need to close them after the text you want to emphasize has finished.  Place the first (or opening) tag at the start of the text you want to alter, and then follow up with the closing tag.

A word of caution about using underline to format regular text:
